Research Fellow: Klemens Kober

Klemens is a Research Fellow at Tutwa Europe and Director for Trade Policy, EU Customs, Transatlantic Relations at the German Chamber of Commerce and Industry (DIHK) as well as EU-representative of the Association of the German Trade Fair Industry (AUMA).

He is based in Brussels and represents DIHK in a number of European and international bodies, including the Association of European Chambers of Commerce and Industry (Eurochambres), the International Chamber of Commerce, as well as Business7, Business20 and multiple Brexit-task forces. Previously, he worked at the Directorate General for Trade of the European Commission and the German-Argentinean Chamber of Commerce. He is also lecturing at Sciences Po Strasbourg.

His research interests include European integration, international trade, the World Trade Organization, EU trade policy and space policy. Klemens received his degrees in economics, political science and law from Sciences Po Rennes, Sciences Po Strasbourg and KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.
